Description
I love dahlias and they are so photogenic that it's hard to stop shooting them. I shot this beauty at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens last summer, and it was one of many that I have enjoyed processing and offering for sale. This one started out crimson and white but I played with the color a bit to give it more presence. I used several filters from Topaz Studio, plus an oil painting filer from Alien Skin Snap Art 4 and a number of textures from Jai Johnson.
Nikon D810 with Nikon 200m micro lens.
