A glorious dahlia that I shot at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens back in August. I almost overlooking this dahlia when I was going through my photos because it had a very distracting green background.

I'm so glad I went back to this image and realized how beautiful it would look if I replaced the background with a matching texture. Now this is my favorite image from 2017 and it was the mos popular of my images in the greeting card sets I gave out over the holidays, and my most-featured image here on Fine Art America.

This lovely dahlia would look lovely on the wall of almost any room in the house, or as a shower curtain or fleece blanket for those chilly winter nights.

Processed in PS with On1 Effects 2017 and texture from Flypaper Textures.
