I recently attended a wonderful workshop on garden photography, and one of the places we visited was Endless Summer Dahlia Farm in Camden, Maine. The dahlias were all absolutely gorgeous, and it was hard to decide what to photograph, although some were in bright sunlight, so I tried to stay in the shade.
This beauty is called "Sylvia" and the striking orange color really caught my eye.
Processed in Photoshop with Topaz Impression and a number of textures.
