Description
This beautiful dahlia, smiling up to the sky, really captivated me. I spent a long time trying to capture her loveliness, to give her a portrait worthy of her beauty. I was able to do this thanks to the wonderful and inspiring "Flower Portraits" course, lovingly taught by the great Kathleen Clemons, whose stunningly beautiful flower portraits have inspired photographers around the world.
Thank you, Kathleen, for your advice, support and inspiration, helping me bring my flower portraits to life, to give them the time, care, and attention they deserve.
Processed in Photoshop with basic adjustments, with two of Kathleen's lovely textures to added to unify the image.
