Last summer we took a trip to New Brunswick and our first stop was Campobello Island.It was a beautiful day, but very windy, so we didn't do a lot of walking but we did drive around the island after visiting FDR's summer home.
The Head Harbour Light, also known as East Quoddy light, is one of the oldest lightstationsn in Canada. From the site Campobello.com:
"Head Harbour, New Brunswick, is the site of one of the oldest lightstations in Canada. Established in 1829, it is situated on a rocky outcropping at the northern tip of Campobello Island."

I have enjoyed photographing nature since I first learned to use a camera more advanced than my childhood Instamatic! When my husband Rick and I bought our home in Massachusetts back in 1979, we fell in love with the beautiful wooded wetland behind the house, and over the years we have come to love it even more. We also love gardening and the original property was mostly lawn. Over time we updated the landscape many times, and recently we added a naturalistic woodland garden near the wetlands and more cultivated gardens in the front and side yards.
