Description

Southwest Harbor is one of our favorite places to visit on Mount Desert Island in Maine. It's not nearly as crowded as Bar Harbor, and it's known as the quiet side of the island. I took this photo last fall on a beautiful autumn day, with lots of sunshine and fair weather clouds making a perfect scene. I love the way the dock frames the harbor and makes the scene even more special.

Processed in Photoshop with Topaz Studio to get the multicolored effect and Topaz Impression 2 to create the painted look.
