Description
A beautiful red dahlia in full bloom shot with a Lensbaby soft focus optic makes just the right companion for this lovely, inspiring quote from Helen Keller. It's one my favorites, and one I have hoped to put on image for a long time. I want to thank my dear friend Florence Cherotich for posting this beautiful quote in the FAA group 'A Woman's Touch' and for giving me the inspiratin to finish this work.

This is such a beautiful image with such a beautiful message. Being from Massachusetts I am sure you know the history of Helen Keller; that she (Helen) and (Anne) bought a farm and seven acres of land in Wrentham, Massachusetts right next door to my great-great grandfather's home in the year 1904. Helen's personal triumph was becoming a remarkable author and educator who overcame her limitations of both blindness and deafness. Anita, this is such a wonderful tribute to such an extraordinary woman.
Anita Pollak replied:
Oh wow, thank you so much for your beautiful words, dear Rebecca, and how wonderful that Helen and Anne bought a farm next door to your great-great grandfather's home!

Anita!! So happy to see you post, and what a post it is!! A truly profound and very beautiful quote to accompany your gorgeous dahlia! Your editing makes it look like a dream, and the red is so rich with those perfect touches of pink! Your dahlia is felt with my heart, that it may be out of reach does not matter. My heart is so deeply grateful.
Anita Pollak replied:
Oh my dear Shar, thank you so much for your beautiful words - you are so very kind! Yes, it's been ages since I posted any new work, but hoping I can find my missing creatitvy somehow! Love and hugs!
