Description
This delightful aster, called October Sky, wasn't actually the last aster in our yard, but it was the most beautiful of the asters still in bloom. I shot it on the last day of October, and it does seem to be looking toward the sky. I was captivated with this little flower and I tried many different angles to best capture how special it was. Now of course the asters are gone, as are all the other flowers, and how I miss them all!
Processed in Photoshop with Topaz Impression and an added texture.

This really caught my eye, as purple is my passion color. I love flowers in their simple forms. Delightful it is. Normally we don't still have the wildflowers in November, but with a bit of rain, and some warmer temperatures (not as warm as 2017), I have still been able to photograph some wildflowers. Well done on giving it a painterly look. Beautiful artwork, Anita. LF πJanet
