Description
We had a lovely trip to Saint Andrews in New Brunswick, Canada, which is home to the magnificent Kingsbrae Garden. We went on two different days - one sunny and hot, and the other drizzly and cool. Of course the best images came from the raindrops gracing the flowers and foliage, and this curled lupine spike was no exception.
Lupine grows wild in many parts of Canada, as well as in Maine, and we saw many stands of lupine when we traveled through Maine to New Brunswick. This is not a wild lupine, but there was no tag on the plant so I don't know what variety it is.
Processed in Photoshop with basic filters and several textures.
Nikon D810 with Nikon 200mm micro lens.
