Artist's Description
It was nearly sunset last Thursday evening at Tower Hill Botanic Garden and we caught sight of a patch of beautiful zinnias, rising high into the evening sky. The flowers were a lovely shade of pink and I was able to get a few shots in before sunset. About Anita Pollak
I have enjoyed photographing nature since I first learned to use a camera more advanced than my childhood Instamatic! When my husband Rick and I bought our home in Massachusetts back in 1979, we fell in love with the beautiful wooded wetland behind the house, and over the years we have come to love it even more. We also love gardening and the original property was mostly lawn. Over time we updated the landscape many times, and recently we added a naturalistic woodland garden near the wetlands and more cultivated gardens in the front and side yards.
