Description
I shot this lovely peach dahlia last summer at Tower Hill Botanic Garden in Boylston, Massachusetts. The flower had several layers of petals, but the outer petals were far apart so I borrowed a technique from Terry Davis - I isolated the flower and made several copies of it, rotating each copy until I got the look I wanted. I added a texture layer below the flower layers, painted the image in Topaz Impression, then added another texture layer on top and painted the image again to get this effect.
