I am trying to focus on positive messages during this very difficult time. I really like this quote by Alexander Pope, and I thought this cutout vintage postcard image from French Kiss Textures, would work really well with the quote. I layered the cutout over a texture, painted in Topaz Impression and added a paper background and a stroke to complete the image.
This would make a lovely card or gift for someone struggling during these challenging times.
I have enjoyed photographing nature since I first learned to use a camera more advanced than my childhood Instamatic! When my husband Rick and I bought our home in Massachusetts back in 1979, we fell in love with the beautiful wooded wetland behind the house, and over the years we have come to love it even more. We also love gardening and the original property was mostly lawn. Over time we updated the landscape many times, and recently we added a naturalistic woodland garden near the wetlands and more cultivated gardens in the front and side yards.
