These lovely fuchsia flowers look like dancers, hanging from a pot in our garden on a beautiful summer evening. There wasn't a lot of light, so the background was dark enough that I could make it black and further show off these lovely dancing ladies.
Processed in Photoshop with various filters in Topaz Studio.

I have enjoyed photographing nature since I first learned to use a camera more advanced than my childhood Instamatic! When my husband Rick and I bought our home in Massachusetts back in 1979, we fell in love with the beautiful wooded wetland behind the house, and over the years we have come to love it even more. We also love gardening and the original property was mostly lawn. Over time we updated the landscape many times, and recently we added a naturalistic woodland garden near the wetlands and more cultivated gardens in the front and side yards. When I was a child, my Mom had a special garden dedicated to only Fuchsias (hanging, bush, etc) and this is a sweet reminder of times long gone! Such beautiful blossoms in an excellent presentation!!!
