Description
I always look forward to the ornamental alliums that bloom in our garden in May. This year we had over a dozen umbels (flower heads), many more than we 've had in the past, and that was a real treat. Of course it made it more diffficult to single out one to shoot, but this one stood out and I had a lot of fun playing with it in Photoshop.
Lots of filters and textures, plus a bit of Impression photopainting, created an abstract look that works well for me.
Nikon D810 with Nikon 200mm micro lens.
