Description

Cherry Blossoms are one of my favorite flowers to photograph, and the season for them is so very short. There aren't a lot of places nearby where I can shoot them, since I can only shoot flowers that haven't been treated.

There is a lovely park in Arlington, Massachusetts where the cherry and crab trees bloom in early May, and that is where I have taken this and most of my other cherry blossom photos.

Processed in Photoshop with Nik Color Efex 4, Topaz Impression 2, and several textures from Jai Johnson.

Nikon D810 with Nikon 105mm lens with 1.7x teleconverter (180mm)
