Description
The daylily is such a special flower - so beautiful, vibrant, and full of life, but only for one day. Daylilies are one of my favorite flowers, and our James Marsh flowers took a big hit when many of the buds were eaten by deer. After spraying all of our daylilies with garlic regularly, we didn't lose any more flowers or buds.
We still got a good number of these beauties, and they always seemed to have unusual shapes. This one really caught my eye - so much power in the color and attitude of the blossom. I wanted a treatment to complement that color and power.
Processed in Photoshop with Topaz Impression and a texture from Jai Johnson.
